Cleveland Cavaliers are an American professional basketball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The team has played a pivotal role in the development of the game of basketball in America. The club has undergone great metamorphosis since its purchase in 2005 by Dan Gilbert for $375 million dollars. The transformation is not automatic; neither is it systematic. The turnaround in the fortunes of the club came about with the return of mercurial LeBron James to the club in 2014. He single handedly promised the club an NBA Finals Win.
