Joey King is an American actress, singer and model. She was born on 30 July 1999 in Los Angeles. Her parents are Jamie and Terry King. Joey’s father, Terry, was an arm-wrestling champion and he was Sylvester Stallone’s consultant in this activity.
Joey has two older sisters Kelli and Hunter. Kelli was born in 1992 and Hunter in 1993 and both of them are acting too. Joey declared that seeing her sisters acting was motivating and this was the reason to start her career: “My older sisters were in acting, and of course, I wanted to be just like them!” .
Joey’s grandparents had an important role in King’s family life. Grandfather’s name was Joseph so Joey was named after him and about King’s grandmother, Elaine Farrar, it is well known that she was a theatre artiste. Joey believes that their acting talent was inherited from their grandmother.
Joey King started her career at an early age. At only four years old she had her first commercial – a national spot for Life Cereal. In around 2 years from that moment, Joey filmed over 100 commercials, ones of them being national campaigns for Eggo and Walmart or commercials for AT&T and McDonald’s.
