Odell’s debut in New York Giants team was on 5 October 2014 against the Atlanta Falcons. In that game, Odell had four receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown. During 2014 season, Odell with his team, the Giants, played also against the Indianapolis Colts, Seattle Seahawks or Dallas Cowboys.
In December 2014, Odell Beckham Jr. took down and set a new record for NFL rookies with over 90 receiving yards in seven straight games and also for most ever receptions by an NFL rookie in a seven-game span. He was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year and social media described him also as “one of the most influential rookies in the history of the franchise”.
